Georgia Burns, Age 85, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023 in Conway, Arkansas. She was a Christian and always let God shine through her actions. Georgia was a member of the First Baptist Church of El Paso, Arkansas, where she served as their treasurer for many years along with teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She loved her family. She was married to the love of her life, Doyle, for 67 years. She was the most giving and unselfish wife and mother; her children and grandchildren were her world. She left behind a legacy and will be missed dearly by everyone who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Doyle Burns; 4 Children, Janie Brooks (JW), Kathy Bryant (Jeffrey), Tammy Sanders (Sam), and Deanna Dunn; 10 Grandchildren, Chad Sentell (Summer), Natasha Weathers (Josh), Jason Brown (Jessica), Justin Payne (Taylor), Jordan Payne, Emma Perry, Lilly Dunn, Roman Dunn, Megan Hilger (Gabe), and Chelsea Durham (Trevor); 13 Great-Grandchildren, Miracle, Erin, Harley, Gage, Makayla, Tuesday, Noah, Hannah, Jameson, Abby, Georgia, Reagan, and Hattie; as well as 1 Great-Great-Grandchild, Saylor; and 2 Sisters, Bobbie Dean Cranford and Diane Wilson; and 1 brother, Tommy Kyzer. She is also survived by her sisters in Christ, Marie Sanchez, Shermain Dowling, Betty Jackson, Debbie Wilson, and Sherri Mason.
She is preceded in death by her father, George Kyzer; Mother, Altha Dean Kingston; her son, Doyle Burns Jr; and brothers, George “Tinker” Kyzer, David Kyzer, and Bobby Joe Kyzer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023, from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. Funeral Service to follow immediately after at 1:00 p.m. at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home 404 W. DeWitt Henry Dr. Beebe, Arkansas 72012. Internment to follow at Grissard Cemetery in El Paso, Arkansas.
