Georgie was a member of the Belmont Methodist Church and a graduate of Shadyside High School. Georgie will be remembered by her ornery spirit and love for her family.
In addition to her parents, Georgie was preceeded in death by an infant son; sons: Charles Robert Freeman and William Edward Freeman, Jr.; grandson, Jason Edward Freeman; great-grandson, Ja'Markus Kinard; brothers: Bobbie Crozier, Galen "Jiggs" Crozier, James "Jim" Crozier and Vane Lyle Crozier; and sister, Margaret "Dutch" Crozier Holliday.
Georgie is survived by her children: Beverly (Randall) Freeman Kelly, Ray (Doreen) Freeman, Jim (Joey) Freeman and Tammy (Eric) Burkhart; grandchildren: Raymond Kelly, Daniel (Dominique) Kelly, Melissa Freeman, Scott Freeman, Dennis Freeman, Tiffany Small-Glidden, Nathan (Chelssie) Hanson, David Freeman, Joseph Burkhart, Hannah Burkhart and James Freeman; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sister, Mildred "Midge" Matesick; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 4-7pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio where the service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 11am. Burial will follow in Belmont Cemetery.
Georgie spent the last 13 years of her life at Emerald Pointe Health and Rehabilitation. Her family would like to thank the many caretakers there that loved her like their own. Hospice of Guernsey joined them in March and have been true angels giving her the comfort she needed.
