CHAMPION – Georgia Ann Mounts, age 80, lifelong area resident, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at home. She was born December 16, 1944 in Warren, the daughter of James E., Sr. and Ottie (Bailes) Brown.
A 1963 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Georgia was well-established in the area as a barber and beautician. She went out her way for her clients, time and time again, and cared for them like family. She bought things for those who didn't have, and she was mindful to send cards for birthdays and anniversaries to those she loved.
Precious memories of Georgia live on with her beloved husband of forty-five years, Robert D. Mounts; her son, Martin Mounts (Tawnie) of Howland; four sisters: Doris Metzenroth of Champion, Ina Howard of Warren, Wanda Watson of New Port Richey, Florida, and Norma Jean Williams of Warren; her brother, James E. Brown, Jr. (Susan) of Bristolville; her sister-in-law, Nicole Brown of Howland; and many nieces, nephews and their families who adore her and miss her.
Preceding her in death are her parents; two sisters, Betty Jo Biddle and Loretta Skaggs; and three brothers: Warren, Wilbur E. "Web", and Delbert L. "Deb" Brown.
Calling hours are 5:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home. Services are 11:00 am Friday, August 22 at the funeral home. All who knew and loved Georgia are welcome to attend and celebrate her remarkable life.
Interment will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park.
Arrangements are entrusted to Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road NE, Warren, Ohio 44483, 330- 394-6200. Dedicated To Serving Your Loved Ones. This obituary may be viewed and condolences sent to www.statonborowskifuneralhome.com.
