Georgia Elaine Reed

Georgia Elaine Reed, 77, passed away on November 9, 2025. She was born in Oklahoma City, OK, on April 12, 1948, to Norman and Margaret Butler.
Georgia was a kind and caring person. She loved painting watercolors, traveling with her friends, and spending time with her hound dog. Georgia was also involved in the T.O.P.S. Club for over 40 years and was just recently promoted to Queen.
Georgia was a hard worker. She retired from Gates Rubber Company after working there for over 30 years. When she was not working at Gates, she spent time working on her farm with her husband.
But most of all, Georgia loved to spend time with her family. She particularly loved spending time with them by showing them how to cook family recipes.
Georgia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Reed; parents, Norman Luther Butler and Margaret June (Tye) Butler; and brother, Norman "Junior" Butler.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Dale Reed of Gentry, AR; daughter, Penny Reed and significant other Ray Chitsazan of Gentry, AR; brothers, Jim Butler of Gentry, AR, Jesse Butler and wife Rubie of Tahlequah, OK, Ronnie Butler and wife Mary of Paris, TX, Lowell Butler and wife Brenda of Siloam Springs, AR, and Danny Butler and wife Kelly of Stillwell, OK; sisters, Carol Church of Springfield, MO, and Cindy Reeves and husband Kirk of Cameron, OK; grandchildren, Jacob Reed and Jasmine Reed; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A visitation will be held at Wasson Funeral Home on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Wasson Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Springtown Cemetery.
