Georgia Robertson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hurley Funeral Home - Mason City on Mar. 6, 2026.
Georgia Mae Robertson, 84, of Lincoln, IL, passed away peacefully March 5 at 3:42pm at St. Clara's Senior Care, surrounded by her family.

She was born September 6, 1941, in Springfield, IL, to Georgia and Wilma DaPron (Nolte). Mason City, IL was her hometown. She worked many years as a manager/EMT for the Mason City Ambulance Service. She also worked for Mason County Health Department, lastly working at Wareco and Casey's before retiring. Her happiness and love was always helping others her entire life. She also enjoyed walking, fishing, gardening, visiting with her neighbors, and listening to country music, but most of all was the love she had and shared for her family. She always loved family gatherings and visits. She was a bright light of extraordinary love to all of us.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Anne Forbes, brother, Jimmy, daughter, Joleen, grandson, Nathan, and granddaughter, Nicole. She is survived by her children, Bill Robertson (Rose) of Lincoln, IL, Michael Robertson (Sandy) of Mason City, IL, Ronda Robertson of Cave-In-Rock, IL, sisters, Carolyn Pfanz (Dan) of Manito, IL, Dawn Price of Mascoutah, IL; grandchildren, Christina Perfountain, Tyler Robertson, Kyle Trentham, Brian Blevins, Adam Lowe and Andrea, Dylan, Brock, Austin, Bethany, and Chloe; great-grandchildren, Easton and Grayson. Lastly, her favorite saying to us throughout our lives "Love You All".

A graveside service will take place at Mason City Cemetery on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 11am with Pastor Sprinkle to officiate. Memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America.

Georgia was a friend. I will miss our visits. I was lucky to shy hello to her on several occasions at St. Claira's and she would look at me and smile but then go back into her world. She was so precious. I will miss her but carry her memory in my heart pocket forever.
