Georgia B. Settle

Georgia B. "Peggy" Settle, 90, Indianapolis, passed away on January 5, 2010. Peggy was born in Huron, Indiana to Rev. Otto and Edith Duncan. She graduated from Bedford High School and went on to marry her high school sweetheart, Charles "Chuck" Settle, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Louise Kopernak (Rudy), and her brother, Leo Duncan (Mildred). She was retired from Shaffer Distributing Company. Peggy was a member of the United Faith Baptist Church. The family would like to extend gratitude to the staff of the Indiana Masonic Home for their loving care while Peggy was with them. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Nelson; her son, Pastor Doug Settle (Katy); and her three grandchildren, Peter Settle (Kristin), Becky McGrath (John), and Paul Settle; and her great-grandson, James Settle. Services will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 4 PM at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center- Washington Park East, with calling from 2 PM until service time.
