Published by Legacy on Dec. 3, 2025.
Georgia Thrower passed away November 30, 2025.

Georgia Knight Thrower was born January 20, 1932 in Balsam, North Carolina. She enjoyed life growing up with her 2 brothers in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina.

She married Rex Thrower and moved to a ranch on Sarpy Creek Montana. She soon learned about ranch life while raising her 5 children. It was a sad time when they lost a daughter. They retired from the ranch and moved to a small place outside Columbus, Montana.

She enjoyed traveling to gun shows throughout the United States as Rex collected antique guns.

Rex passed away in 2001 and Georgia decided to move to the Black Hills, in Spearfish, South Dakota as they reminded her of the Smoky Mountains.

She enjoyed attending church and studying God's word with her "Bible Babe" friends. Throughout the years she had 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Stuart (Denise) Thrower, Georgianna (Bruce) Price, India Thrower, Melanie (Martin) Anseth and, Yvette (Konrad) Thrower.

Interment will be at Custer National Cemetery in Crow Agency, Montana beside her husband Rex.

Arrangements are under the care of Kline Funeral Chapel of Belle Fourche. An online guest book is available at klinefuneralchapel.com
