Georgia Waters Obituary
Georgia Waters, 57, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at her Satsuma residence following a brief illness.
A Palatka native, Georgia had been a lifelong resident of Putnam County. She attended and graduated from E. H. Miller School in Palatka and had attended Cross Road Community Church in East Palatka. She was an easy-going, people person who never met a stranger and loved everyone – especially her nieces and nephews – and was a great Gator fan.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby G. Waters.
Surviving are her mother, Georgia Mae Waters; a brother, Bobby Gene Waters Jr.; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Bobbie Jo and Jimbo Wise; Judy and Jody Lott, Kathy and Bill Foley, and Patricia and R.J. Scofi; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 15, 2025, at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka with Pastor Jeff Foster officiating. Friends are invited to call after 10 a.m. - an hour before the start of the service. Interment will follow in Etoniah Cemetery in Bardin.
