Georgianne Heymann Obituary

Georgianne Heymann, 74, passed away on March 21st of natural causes in Greendale WI. The daughter of Alma (Bertola) and George Heymann, she is survived by her brother John in Somerville MA.
Georgianne was a vibrant human being, outgoing, compassionate, with many interests from cultural to scientific, and a saucy sense of humor. An engaging and humorous conversationalist she enjoyed the company of others, hosting many dinner parties where her creative culinary skills were much appreciated.
Devoted to science and education, Georgianne earned degrees in nursing and a bachelor in science and had a career as a senior science editor in Milwaukee and at Grolier Publishing in Danbury CT. As an editor and writer, she also was instrumental in publishing books for children.
Georgianne spent many years devoting much love and expert care to her aging mother in Greendale. During that time, Georgianne was active in the Greendale Historical Society and happy to again be part of the Greendale community.
Her many friends and relatives will always miss her affectionate, witty, and caring presence
