Georgie Marilyn (Stagner) Gordon gained her wings on August 13, 2025, in Pueblo, Colorado. Georgie was born on August 7, 1955, to George Andrew Stagner and Grace Marilyn (Mort) Stagner in Alamosa, Colorado. Georgie is preceded in death by her husband, Dolan Gordon, parents, Andy and Grace Stagner, and two brothers, Marlin Stagner and Bill Stagner.

She is survived by daughter, Jennifer Maxwell and husband, Casey, of Springfield, Colorado; son, Austin Tate and significant other, Ashli McMurrin, of Walsh, Colorado; nine grandchildren, Genna Bishop of Walsh, Colorado; Keith Tate of Springfield, Colorado; Alec Tate of Springfield, Colorado; Tyson Campbell of Anchorage, Alaska; Jason Campbell of Goodland, Kansas; Kody Tate of Goodland, Kansas; Kenna Maxwell of Springfield, Colorado; T.J. Mayo of Walsh, Colorado; and Cassie McMurrin of Walsh, Colorado; as well as seven great-grandchildren, Lillian, Arianna, Rayna, Khaleesi, Nolan, Kolson, and Maysen; two brothers, David Stagner and wife, Barbara, of Hinton, Oklahoma; and Raymond Stagner and wife, Sharon, of Denton, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Georgie and Dolan were married in 1994, which began the best times of her life. She loved working alongside Dolan, doing everything from home repairs to gardening. The home place was her pride and joy; she loved to have people visit so she could show them the new project they were working on. Her chosen profession was being a homemaker, which she enjoyed immensely. Making her 2nd most talked about subject her kids, grandkids and even her great grandkids. She loved to work on puzzles and color to pass the time.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution in Georgie's honor to SECHD Long Term Care Center, 373 E. 10th Avenue, Springfield, Colorado 81073.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Maltbie Funeral Services chapel, 265 W. 8th Avenue, Springfield, Colorado.  Inurnment will follow at the Springfield Cemetery.
