BEDARA, Gerald "Jerry," 73, entered into eternal rest on February 13, 2009. He was preceded in death by his foster mother, Annie O'Brien of Bayonne, N.J.; and his son, James Bedara. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of 48 years; daughter, Peggy Zwarycz and her husband, Allan, of Richmond, Va.; son, Mark Bedara and his wife, Eileen, of Hatboro, Pa.; grandchildren, Robert Bedara, James Bedara, Bailey Zwarycz, Eric Zwarycz, Patrick Bedara, Brendan Bedara and Aidan Bedara. Jerry was born in Union City, N.J. and raised in Bayonne, N.J. He moved to Richmond, Va. in 2002 after his retirement. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2009 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 9505 Gayton Road, Richmond, Va. Burial of cremated remains will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
