Gerald Carr

Matthew 6: 9,10 You must pray, then, this way: Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth.

I grew up across the street from Mr. (Colonel) Carr, and I remember him very fondly as a man who always had a smile on his face, and a man who was very kind-natured and friendly to us kids. My parents, as well, thought very highly of him. He was another one of `the good guys`, another American Hero, who has left us to join the ranks in Heaven. We will see you again, one day.

Many prayers for the Carr family, may God be with all of as you go through your time of sorrow.

He was my hero and inspired me to expect and reach greater heights than I could imagine. I became an attorney because of him and also met my wife in college. We are blessed with a beautiful and loving family. My condolences and prayers to the family of Gerald Carr,he changed my life and made all my dreams come true.
