Dr. Chalal you were an amazing mentor when I did my medical school rotations. I practice family medicine, geriatrics and perform house calls because of you. Ever since I was a little girl watching you take such great care of myself and my family. When I had family members to sick to come to your office - you came to them. You not only gave me wisdom, but you taught me compassion and how to build a relationship with patients. Words can not express my gratitude. My sincere condolences to your family. May your family find peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Picture this..four little girls all under the age of 8 with the chicken pocks. He literally chased us down to give us the dreaded "needle"". Dr. Chalal found me under the sink hiding. He treated my grandparents for years and always brought a lollypop for me. I will always remember him with his long coat, black bag and big smile. My family is extremely lucky to have had him as our family doctor.
