On Sunday, December 11, 2022, GERALD COHEN, of Rockville, MD, Beloved husband of 71 years of the late Joanne Cohen, Devoted father of Richard (Myra) Cohen, Debra (Harold) Luks and Brenda (Mark) Lipowsky. Cherished grandfather of Randy (Marcy) Cohen, Jamie (Marjorie) Cohen, Joshua (Sarah) Luks, Jordana (Adam) Cutler, Ari Luks, Bryan (Jenna) Lipowsky and Dana (David) Mayberg. Proud Great-Grandfather of Rhodes and Grant Cohen, Skylar and Zoe Cohen, Shoshana, Daliya, Adina and Samuel Luks, Eitan, Noam and Ella Cutler, Sophie and Drew Lipowsky. Brother of Barbara (Richard) Wolf and the late Sheldon (the late Faye) Cohen.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at B'nai Israel Congregation, 6301 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD. For Livestream, go to Bnaiisraelcong.org/livestream. Interment following at Judean Memorial Gardens, Olney, MD. Shiva Minyan will be observed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Brenda and Mark Lipowsky and continue on Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Myra and Rick Cohen. Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements by Sol Levinson & Bros., Inc.
