Jerry was an only child, born in Cherokee, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his father, Prince Daniels and grandparents, Mable and Burt Goodloe.
Jerry dedicated 50 years of service to MDRR (Mental Retardation Developmental Disability) before retiring due to an illness.
An avid sports fan, he loved the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Cleveland Guardians.
In his younger years, he enjoyed playing sports, such as running track, basketball and soccer. He earned numerous awards along the way. Later in life, he developed a passion for bowling.
Leaving behind his devoted mother, Alice Daniels, who cherished every moment with him. He also leaves a loving circle of cousins, friends and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 10:00 am until 11:00am at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Rd. Akron, Oh 44320. Funeral service will immediately follow. Internment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
