With profound sadness we honor the life and legacy of Gerald Demetrius Day, a man whose love and dedication touched countless lives. Born to Leonard Day Sr. and Geraldine Day, Gerald was raised with strong values that carried him throughout his remarkable journey.
An exceptional student and athlete, Gerald graduated from Glenville High School with honors, excelling as a top achiever in academics and thriving on the football field as the starting quarterback-a testament to his drive and leadership.
Beyond his accomplishments, Gerald found profound joy in his roles as a father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. His commitment to family was unwavering, and he was a source of strength, guidance, and unconditional love to all.
Gerald's passion for sports was matched by his diligence as a professional. As a leader at Target for over 14 years, he demonstrated dedication, integrity, and an inspiring work ethic that made a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike.
Though he is deeply missed, Gerald's legacy lives on in the memories of his loved ones. Gerald is survived by two children Jeremy Bradford, and Laquita Bradford. Five Grandchildren Lakiyesha Radcliff, DeNyla O'Bryant, Denai'a O'Bryant, Christina Hoskins, and Dennie O'Bryant. One Brother Leonard Day Jr. Nephews Jason Day, Daniel Day, Jennifer Day, Lawonne Edwards, Anthony Clemons. His story is one of strength, perseverance, and love-a life truly well-lived.
