I'll always remember your determination when you set your mind to something, from your service in the Navy, to running your own business, to running marathons or putting yourself through law school, or even just being a dad. You always gave anything you started your whole heart.

I'll always remember your passion and the eagerness and creativity you expressed in whatever piece of life caught your interest.

I'll always remember your quiet generosity and the happiness that filled your face when you were doing something selfless for a friend, stranger or for the people you loved.

I don't know that I'll ever measure up to be even 10% of the man you were, but I'll try. I've always admired you more than you could have ever known and I am so proud to be your son.
