Gasport: Gerald E. Farr, Jr. age 75, passed away peacefully into the presence of His Savior Jesus on November 4, 2025. He was born January 25, 1950 to the late Gerald E. Farr, Sr. and Julia (Guay) Farr.
Gerald was predeceased by his loving wife Kim, and brother Terry (late Deborah) Farr. Jerry is survived by his children, Jeffrey (Rebecca) Farr, Jennifer (Jared) Lovell, Jessica (Eric) Lipps, James Farr, twenty-two grandchildren and brothers David (Jean) and Richard (Judy), and sister Barbara (Scott).
Gerald loved the Lord and faithfully served Him for many years as a deacon and teacher. He was also a proud U.S. Navy veteran serving two tours of duty in Vietnam. There he met the love of his life, Kim (Hoa) and the two were married in 1972. Jerry loved spending time with his family taking them on many vacations. He had a deep love of history, especially presidential history. In addition, he loved reading books, watching movies, and making lists. Jerry was a collector at heart, curating many extensive collections including movies, books, stamps, coins, and records.
We miss him greatly but are comforted by the fact he has left the land of the dying and has entered into the land of the living. We were very blessed to have him as a father and are thankful to God for the time we had with him.
Visitation will be on Thursday, Nov. 13th from 4-6PM with a memorial service immediately following at Calvary Baptist Church, 405 Lincoln Ave. Lockport, NY 14094. His committal and interment with military honors will be held the next day, November 14th, at 11AM at the Western New York National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Rd. Corfu, NY 14036.
