Jerry wasn't our neighbor for long but I sure enjoyed our chats when he was outside working or burning brush. My favorite memory was when my two chickens flew in the window of his barn. We looked like fools using brooms, and anything else that would reach, to try to get the rooster out of the rafters. Jerry finally got him! I know he will be missed greatly.
