Gerald Gernt

My ex-wife was a grad student at WKU in the early 90s and she did some work for Gerry, translating the early Allardt town documents from German. We stayed with Gerry and Yvonne quite a bit during that time. Gerry was a good man, and he went out of his way to run around the county with me fishing, drinking beer, and generally just having a good time with him and his old hound dog, Rebel. I will always treasure those memories. My sincere condolences to Yvonne and the entire family.
