Gerald L. Gulley, 89, went home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2025. He passed away peacefully in his home.
Jerry was born on August 30, 1936, in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. He spent much of his life in the area and was a longtime resident of Monaca, PA.
A dedicated and hardworking man, Jerry began his career at J&L Steel at the age of 22. He devoted more than 40 years to the company before retiring, exemplifying a strong work ethic and lifelong commitment to providing for his family.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella J (Hurray); his sons, Timothy Gulley and Robert Gulley; his parents, Albert and Rachael Gulley (Snyder); and his brothers Thomas, Raymond, Donald, and Jack Gulley.
He is survived by his children: Gerald "Jerry" Gulley (Sheila), Rick Gulley (April), Gregory Gulley (Kelly), and Melissa Bishop (Michael); daughters-in-law Trinda Gulley and Stacie Gulley; 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him great joy.
He is also survived by his siblings: brother Richard Gulley and sister Patricia Wagner (Dave).
Jerry will be remembered for his quiet strength, devotion to family, and the steady presence he provided throughout his life. His legacy lives on through the many generations of family he helped raise and support.
Friends will be received on Sunday, December 28th from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at St. John the Baptist.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hearing Loss Association of America.

I am so sorry I will miss him greatly. He was a wonderful Uncle to me.
I would like to be there for the services but, I live in Idaho and could not make it on such short notice. My love ,thoughts and prayers.
