Gerald "Jerry" Lawrence Herzberg, age 75, of Wichita, KS, went to be with the Lord on December 27th, 2025. He was born on August 2nd, 1950 in Sedgwick County to LaVern and Eunice Herzberg.

Jerry is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Carrie Herzberg, Brice and Isela Rizo; six granddaughters, Ashlyn Ruscetti (Colton), Timmon Ryan (Nick), Tayler Herzberg, Aspen Balavage (Thor), Kylen Herzberg, Addison Herzberg (Jackson); one grandson, Blake Herzberg; three great grandchildren, Elsie, Braxton and Anders; four brothers, Mike Herzberg (Suzanne), Tom Herzberg (Tina), Steve Herzberg, Pete Herzberg; three sisters, Kay Miller (Mike), Rhonda Rutledge (Rick), Jackie Fees (Robert).

He is preceded in death by wife of 48 years, Carol Ann Herzberg; father LaVern John Herzberg; mother Eunice Mabel Herzberg; sister-in-laws, Mary, Kathy and Kitty.

Dad taught us the value of hard work. He spent years working in the family business as a roofer and later the owner of L.J. Herzberg & Sons Roofing Co. until he retired in 2016. He enjoyed softball in his younger years, bowling and golf. He found joy in all things outside and loved working in the yard. His happy place was his cabin at Tablerock Lake that he shared for many years with wife Carol, his family and friends.

Dad was a man of God with unwavering faith. We find comfort in knowing he is with Jesus. He loved his family deeply. His legacy will live on through his dedication, devotion and life lessons. He was one of quiet strength and unconditional love.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 1:00-4:00 pm at Crestview Country Club. Attendees are encouraged to wear casual attire.
