Gerald "Jerry" Allen Jones

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald "Jerry" Jones. Jerry passed peacefully surrounded by his wife and children on December 5, 2024. A beloved family man, hardworking entrepreneur, and an honest friend, Jerry's memory will continue to inspire and guide us.

Known for his relentless work ethic and passionate spirit, Jerry was a beacon of light in both his professional and personal life. His honesty was admired by all who knew him, and his infectious love for life was impossible to miss. But above all else, Jerry was a family man. His children were his pride and joy, and nothing brought him more happiness than sharing their accomplishments with others. He is survived by his wife, Teri Jones as well as his children, Jennifer Schmidt, Jessica Jones, Kelley Jones as well as his sons-in-law David Schmidt and Scott Melaragno and daughter-in-law Alexis Jones. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Vera, Frankie, Everett and Leo, who adored spending time with him swimming in the pool and playing in the cornfield behind his home.

During his lifetime, Jerry made a significant impact on the world around him. As the successful owner of a thriving sheet metal business, he demonstrated a commendable blend of leadership and integrity. He was not just a boss, but a mentor to his employees, fostering a respectful and efficient work environment. Jerry's influence in his industry was truly remarkable, but his legacy extends far beyond his professional achievements.

Jerry's love story with his wife is the kind that brings tears to our eyes and warms our hearts. Their devoted partnership formed the foundation of the loving household they created for their children.
