Gerald E. Kunkle

It was a pleasure to know Mr. Kunkle for the few years that I did. It was always great to sit and chat with him before and after needed repairs were made to the house. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk with, my deepest sympathy on his passing.

God bless you Mr. Kunkle. I worked at PPG in Harmarville when you were there. My condolences to your family.

Gerry was much respected and admired as a leader at PPG Glass Research. He was the designated representative for presenting a paper on "Twin Chemical Polishing" as a dramatic breakthrough in expediting the polishing operation in plate glass manufacture before the entire glass making technology was upstaged by the float glass process. He then took a leadership position in continuing the development and enhancing the efficiency of the glass making process.

Gerry was a mentor and friend at PPG and a great example of one of God's good men

A good man, who loved God and his family. We will miss Gerald, but know he is at peace.
