Gerald Leatherman Obituary
Born February 13, 1959, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Carl E. and Lucille (Hopkins) Leatherman.
Gerald worked as an orchard caretaker for Applacres for 45 years. He enjoyed working on vehicles. Gerald loved his dogs. He will be missed by everyone.
Surviving are his children, Jerold Leatherman of Mitchell, Chris Leatherman of Mitchell, Zachary Leatherman of Mitchell, Kayla (Levi) Clark of Bedford, and Sarah Blanton of Mitchell; grandchildren, LeeAnn Hutslar, Charles Clark, Piper Clark, Emily Leatherman, Lorelei Eubanks, Jessica Eubanks, Levi Leatherman, Aubrea Smith, and Madison Smith; siblings, Jerry Leatherman of Tunnelton, Tony Leatherman of Mitchell, Danny Leatherman of Tunnelton, Terry Leatherman of Tunnelton, and Sheila Garrison of Mitchell; many nieces and nephews; and his dog Paulie.
His parents and siblings, Henry Leatherman, Carolyn Terrell, Wanda Holt, Judy Jones, Joyce Babcock, James Leatherman, Jack Leatherman, Herald Leatherman, Vickie Pridemore, Donald Leatherman, Ricky Leatherman, and Angela Leatherman, preceded him in death.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 16, at Lawrenceport Cemetery with Brother Johnny Herald officiating.
