LONDAL, Gerald O. (Bird) - Age 80, passed away on July 4, 2021. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday July 10, 2021 at Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 West Bristol Road, Flint. Pastor Rob Prince officiating. Visitation will be held 9:00 AM until the time of service Saturday at the church. Interment will be 10 AM Monday, July 12, 2021 in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Contributions may be made to Central Church of the Nazarene, Flint.
Gerald was born on October 24, 1940 in Holly, the son of Gerald and Madge Bird. He served in the United States Army for 8 years. Gerald was elected to the Army Air Corp Defense Command Chorale Group, where he traveled the world singing. He married Patsy Struble Stone on July 14, 2012. Jerry was a member of Central Church of the Nazarene. He loved the Lord, who gave him the gift of love for helping others. He flew to Saddleback Valley Church to start Celebrate Recovery at Central Church. Helping others was his testimony and he has touched so many lives.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy; sons, Eric and Nathan Londal both of St. Louis, MO; 4 grandchildren; sister, Mary (Dan) Miller; step-daughter, DeLynn (Walt) Demell of Fenton; step-son, Gregory (Delores) Stone of Owosso; six step-grandchildren; 11 step-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
