Gerald Lee Love

Love, Gerald "Jerry" Lee 79 of Jackson, passed away at his home Friday, May 6, 2016. Gerald was the son of Charles Lee and Wilma (Chamberlain) Love, born September 22, 1936 in Jackson, MI. Jerry was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Betty; his parents, and one sister, Diane Lusby. He is survived by three children, Darrell Love, Lisa (Donnie) Partin, and Carol (Steve) Donahee; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Jerry attended Jackson High School. He served his country in the United States Maine Corps. Jerry retired from McGowan Electric Supply Co. after 36 years of service. He was a volunteer at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. Jerry enjoyed decorating and celebrating Christmas with his family, square dancing with Betty, and camping. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson, Friday, May 13, at 1:00 p.m., Michael D. Mason officiating, entombment Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Henry Ford Allegiance Health, 205 North East Avenue, Jackson, MI 49021.
