Gerald Lowe Obituary

Gerald "Jerry" Lowe passed away on January 19th , 2026. He was the son of Arthur "Art" and Bette Lowe, born June 3rd 1942 in Jackson, Michigan. Jerry is survived by his nieces, Dawn Lowe and Danielle (Kyle) Thwaits, great nieces and nephews: Lucas and Carly Lund, Kenley, Kori, and Kalen Thwaits. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, brothers Donald "Don" Lowe and Richard "Dick" Lowe, and great niece Kaylor Thwaits. Jerry graduated from Vandercook Lake High School in 1960. He server our country in the US Army and went on to have a 30-year career with Michigan Bell (AT&T). Jerry enjoyed playing cards and was known for having quite the poker face. Over the years his hobbies included hunting, collecting coins, and drinking coffee (sometimes with a smoke). He liked the company of people and was always a good teaser. Jerry had a positive attitude and a fierce will to live. He was a kind and caring person who made quick friends to those around him.

So sorry to hear that Jerry passed away. I have many happy memories of family times at Grandma and Grandpa Lowe´s. Jerry was a teaser, just like his dad, but he was always kind and had a great smile! Sending prayers your way.

Jerry was a great friend of mine. He always stopped my Clarklake lake lot almost every Sunday to see what his brother Dick and I were up to. Just a wonderful person and so kind. RIP Jerry. You will be missed.

You were an Amazing guy. Always,making sure your Mom was taken of,after your Dad passed & then after, your brother Dick,passed away. Always kind&had a great sense of humor. I should have went back,to visit with you,Jerry. I know you, are at Peace now with your parents&brothers,in Heaven.
