Rear Admiral McKay what's the most professional and respected Naval Officer I had the privilege to serve under. My Commanding Officer or Commander in five separate Naval commands, he was a true Mentor, counselor and friend. Linda, Karen and I send our deepest condolences and prayers. Linda
Admiral MacKay was by far the most professional and most admired man I worked for in 30 years in the Navy and 16 years at Lockheed.
Admiral MacKay was a class act. We will miss him.
So sorry for your loss.

Mrs. MacKay & Family;
So sorry to hear this sad news.
Although I do not believe I ever met ADM MacKay, I knew his name and heard nothing but great things about him.
Thoughts and Prayers to you and yours.
RIP Admiral.

Mrs. MacKay and family you have my and my husband's deepest condolences. It was a pleasure working for Jerry at Advent Systems.

Jerry MacKay was a person of Honor to our Nation. Jerry was a loyal friend and messenger for hope to many of UCSF and Stanford Healthcare participants in support of Lung Transplant. He was always available to give uplifting testimony. We in the transplant community are deeply saddened by his passing, and for his families loss. Peace.
