"A Korean War veteran has passed away today." Gerald, you are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy war veteran and mason. We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to begin, ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.

I have many fond memories of Gerry from my years at Jonas Hotel. He was proud of his garden and enjoyed sharing his harvest. His wife, Linda, was a gifted artist, and I feel fortunate to own one of her pieces. Their memories will stay with me forever. Rest in peace.
