Gerald K. "Jerry" Miller

Gerald "Jerry" K. Miller, 90, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, at Holy Spirit Hospital with his family by his side. He was born on March 21, 1935, to the late Rolland and Evelyn (Grubb) Miller. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Gerald graduated from John Harris High School in 1953. A proud Air Force veteran, he served four years in the military, both stateside and in Formosa (Taiwan). He then went on to spend over 50 years as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service, serving his community with unwavering commitment and diligence-a career of which he was especially proud.
Gerald enjoyed cars, watching sports, and had a special affection for animals. Most importantly, he cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren, to whom he was lovingly known as "Pop-Pop."
Gerald is survived by his daughter, Colleen Miller of Honolulu, HI; his daughter, Stephanie (Timothy) King of Manheim, PA; and his son, Bradley (Jacqueline) Miller of Montgomery, TX, along with his treasured granddaughters: Emma (Ian) Fujimoto, Hannah (Peter) Schier, Charlotte Miller, and Rachel and Laura King. He is also survived by his sister, Leona Shaffer, and his brother, Stephen Miller. In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by a brother, Rolland Miller, and a sister, Doris Erbel.
A viewing will be held at Parthemore Funeral Home on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 10:30 AM until the start of the funeral at 11:00 AM. Following the service, Gerald will be laid to rest at Liverpool Union Cemetery at 1:15 PM.
