Gerald Lee Miller, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026, in Titusville, Florida, at the age of 90. Born on July 10, 1935, in Catawissa, Pennsylvania, Gerald's life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family, his passion for his work, and his love for life's simple pleasures.

Gerald's journey began as the son of Glenn and Irene (Gotshall) Miller and grew alongside his twin sister, Geraldine Snyder, and his late sister, Glennene Delbo. His early years in Catawissa laid the foundation for a life full of love, laughter, and hard work. Gerald's commitment to his family was evident in every aspect of his life, particularly in the love he shared with his late wife of 69 years, Mary Ann Hermanski, and the legacy they built together. Also welcoming him home is his grandson, Eric Barnes.

A proud father of four, Gerald is survived by Rodney Miller (Kathy) of Florida, Thomas Miller of Pennsylvania, Peggy Barnes (Jim Rought) of PA, and Lisa Gay of Alabama. His role as a patriarch extended to his nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his spirit of kindness and generosity. Gerald's family was the cornerstone of his life, and his guidance and humor will be deeply missed.

Gerald's professional life was defined by his 35-year tenure as a diesel mechanic for Cummins Diesel in Ashland, Pennsylvania. His expertise and reliability made him a respected figure at work, and his camaraderie with colleagues extended well beyond the workplace. Gerald's work ethic and integrity were hallmarks of his character, earning him the admiration of all who knew him. In 1990 he moved to Lake Wales, FL and was resident in the Nature's Edge Community.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Gerald was known for his vibrant social life and hobbies. Prior to Mary's passing Gerald and Mary enjoyed trips to the casinos in Mississippi and Florida. A regular at Nature's Edge, he relished his weekly pool games with friends, where his quick wit and jovial nature made him a beloved member of the community. Gerald's ability to connect with people was unparalleled; he never met a stranger and could effortlessly turn acquaintances into friends.

Gerald's zest for life, his infectious laughter, and his penchant for joking around will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His impact on his family, friends, and community was profound, and his memory will be treasured forever. Gerald Lee Miller's story is one of love, laughter, and a life well-lived. He will be dearly missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire those he left behind.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Gerald as well as his wedding anniversary with Mary Ann, at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 18th, 2026, in the Club House at Natures Edge located in Lake Wales, Florida.
