Share your Memorial with Family & FriendsIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gerald ("Jerry") Patrick Mueller, who left us peacefully on October 31, 2025, in Melbourne, Florida. Born on June 17, 1950 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late John and Dolores Mueller, Jerry lived a life dedicated to service, faith and family. Jerry was a proud patriot who voluntarily served his country with honor in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. After an honorable discharge from his beloved Marine Corps, he returned home to the Philadelphia area and joined the Cheltenham Township Police Department, continuing a life devoted to service until an injury in the line of duty forced him to retire from the job he loved. Above all, Jerry was a man of God – steadfast in his Christian faith, humble in spirit, and generous in heart. His love for the Lord shaped his life and inspired all who knew him best. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda, and his six children: sons Brian (Crystina) Mueller, Timothy (Jennifer) Mueller, Christopher (Amy) Mueller, and David Mitchell; and daughters Lindsey Newman and Katie Mitchell. His legacy continues through his twelve grandchildren, who will forever remember his humor, wisdom, quiet strength and love.Jerry is also survived by his siblings Jody, Phyllis, Andy, Chuck, Pete and Jenny, and is reunited in eternal peace with his first wife, Karin, and his brothers Paul and John.A memorial service and celebration of Jerry's life will be held on Monday November 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church located at 4541 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne, FL 32935. Private interment will take place at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Jerry's favorite charity, Tunnels to Towers Foundation (t2t.org).
