Gerald L. "Jerry" Pambianco

Gerald "Jerry" Pambianco, 90, a lifelong resident of Plains Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at River View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Plains, he was the son of Raymond and Mary (Gallagher) Pambianco. He was a devoted husband to Janet (Picketts) Pambianco until her passing in 2024. A graduate of Plains High School, Jerry spent most of his life as a skilled mechanic, proudly owning and operating his own front-end alignment business.

When not working, Jerry loved to take to the skies as a private pilot and enjoyed collecting Lionel trains, often setting them up under the Christmas tree for family and friends to admire. A U.S. Navy veteran, he proudly served aboard the USS Currituck. Known for his strong work ethic and generous spirit, Jerry was always ready to help others-whether fixing a car, a home project, or any task that needed attention.

In addition to his wife and parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Raymond; daughter-in-law, Paulette (Sidloski) Pambianco; grandson, Nicholas Raymond Pambianco; brothers, Raymond, John, and William Pambianco; and sisters, Loretta Forlenza and Sylvia Kuznaik.

Surviving are his sister, Maryann Cresho; son, Matthew, and daughter-in-law, Victoria (Bell) Pambianco; daughter, Maria, and son-in-law, Gerald White; grandchildren, Gerald Pambianco, Angelina White, and Justin White; great-granddaughters, Audrey Ford and Ambreya Pambianco; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of River View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate care, and to Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their support during Jerry's final days. They also wish to thank the doctors and staff at Medical Oncology Associates, Renal Consultants, Urology Associates of Kingston, Bucci Laser Vision, and NEPA Cardiology Associates for their years of dedicated care.

Special thanks are also extended to Al and Carol Smith for their generosity and friendship, which meant so much to Jerry and his family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, 18705. Interment will follow in the Italian American Cemetery, Wyoming. Family and friends are invited to visitation on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main Street, Plains Township, 18705.
