He was born in Council Bluffs on May 29, 1935, to the late Roy N. and Dorothy J. (Brayman) Riddle.
Jerry is a retired carpenter and was a member of Carpenters Local 253. He was a member of Walk of Grace Chapel. Jerry enjoyed spending time with family and friends as well as going to garage sales and Nascar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy VanBibber.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marva "Joanie" Riddle; daughter, Joni Renee Myers (Steve); sons, Jerry Dean Riddle, Jeff Riddle (Kris), Jay Riddle (Cherie), Jon Riddle (Bev), Jim Riddle (Patty); sisters, Jacqie Cox (Larry), Joan James, Jean Merk; brother, Buddy Riddle; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.
Visitation is Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral is Thursday, 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials.

So sorry for your loss. I was maybe 9 when my dad would take us kids to visit Jerry and your family. He & your family were good to us & I'm thankful that my dad had him in his life. I pray they are talking old times now. Praying for healing in your family.

I just learned of Jerry's passing, so sorry for your loss Joanie, I will always remember Jerry as my dads good friend, he would always tell us kids about all the crazy, funny times him & Jerry would have. He will be missed, God Bless
