Gerald "Jerry" Ruppert

RUPPERT, Gerald "Jerry". February 18, 2026. Age 85. Beloved husband of the late Marsha. Loving father of Gail (Robert) Pelc. Treasured grandfather of Alex and Avery. Loving uncle of Mark (Karen), Dawn (Peter), Susan (Kenny), and Allan. Cherished and devoted companion of Sandi. He is also survived by his faithful fur baby Eli. He was predeceased by his brothers, Norman (Mona) and Ronald (Carol).

Jerry worked as a specifications analyst at General Motors for 53 years. He was a longtime member of the North Macomb Sportsman Club for more than 50 years and enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Jerry also loved to travel to warm destinations, where he enjoyed collecting seashells and feeding birds along the way. At home, he continued to appreciate nature in simple ways. Above all, Jerry was devoted to his family and took great joy in spoiling them, especially his grandchildren.

Memorial Visitation Tuesday, February 24th, from 3-8pm with a 7pm Memorial Service at Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons Inc., (Shelby Township), 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd.
