GERALD (Jerry)  JUDE RUSSOJerry was a kind and caring man who had the best laugh and always had time for people.  Spending time with his family meant the most to him followed closely by his love of golf and the Cincinnati Bengals..Jerry passed away peacefully in St Elizabeth hospice in Edgewood,KY on May 29th, 2024 at the age of 82.  He was born on July 11th,1941 to Sam and Marguerite Russo in Cincinnati, OH   The  7th of eight sons, Jerry graduated from Purcell High School in1959.  He worked as a service representative for CG&E for 37 years before retiring in 1997.  He proudly served in the Army Reserves for 6 years and had his most memorable round of golf July 22nd,2003 after shooting a hole-in-one at Hartwell Golf Course on its signature 7th hole.  Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Judy(Schuck) Russo, daughter Lisa Beck (Robert), son Tony Russo, grandson Austin Beck(Abby), granddaughters Kailey Beck, Lauren Russo, Eva Russo, brother Donny Russo, honorary grandchildren Spencer Hughes, Chris and Torie Vilvanathan,  honorary great granddaughter Aria Vilvanathan, and many nieces and nephews.  Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Marguerite, and brothers Joseph (Jack) Russo, Sam (Sonny) Russo, Ronnie Russo, Dick Russo, Robert Russo,and Mick Russo.
A celebration of life is planned for June 11th, 2024 from 5-8 P.M. at the Drees Pavilion Covington KY.  
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to:St Elizabeth Hospice Edgewood KY or  St Jude's Children Hospital. 
They also ask family and friends to remember to live Jerry's favorite motto:"I can choose to be happy, or I can choose to be sad...I choose to be happy'
