Jerry Smiley was born in Pinellas County, Florida. He lived in Pasco County, Florida before moving to the Edwin Community in 2013. Jerry was employed by Wilson Construction Company of Eufaula as a Construction Superintendent. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry J. Smiley.
Surviving relatives include two sons, Michael Smiley (Tina), Hudson, FL; and Marshall Smiley, Oregon; his mother, Virginia Taylor Smiley, Edwin Community; two sisters, Susan Snodgrass (Michael), Edwin Community; and Marie Bedford (Sammy), Rose Hill, TN; a brother, Dale Smiley, Edwin Community; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one on the way.
