Gerald Bradley Swaim, 52, of Batesville, departed this life on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. He was born on January 11, 1971, to Gerald Monroe Swaim and Geraldine Qualls Swaim.  

During his lifetime he worked as a masonry.  Brad was extremely proud of his opportunity to be able to work on the rock formations on the beginning of Main Street and also on Maxwell Park.

Gerald enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, and most importantly spending time with his grandbabies.

He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Swaim; his sons, Dakota Branscum, Jesse Gann, of Horseshoe Bend, Tyler Swaim and Cody (Typhanie) Swaim, both of Batesville; daughters, Charity (Colton) Williams, of Batesville, Latasha (Joshua) McDoniel, of Batesville, Tabitha (Dylan) Ramsey, of Searcy, Autumn (Darnell) Swaim, of Newport, Monica (Shane) Cox, of Sulphur Rock, brothers, Jamie Woodman, of Southside, Timmy (Krystal) Swaim,  of Southside, Chris (Debbie) Swaim, of Batesville: sisters, Melissa (Kevin) Liles, of Charlotte, Tina (Steven) Bristow, of Lynn; grandchildren, Sophia, Avery, McKinley, Raylan, Oliver, Evan, Henry, Madilynn, Kylen, Arilyn, Hazel, Kinleigh, Bella, Aiden; nieces, nephews, and friends.

Gerald is preceded in death by his father and wife, Edna.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Doty Southside Funeral Service, 2180 Batesville Blvd, Southside, Arkansas with Bro. Rocky Joslin and Bro. Robert Randolph officiating.
