My Best Friend!!!

Rick Parschen

March 2, 2017

Jerry was my best friend for 34 years, and I could have asked for a better friend. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and trusted friend. Words cannot express the loss of such a wonderful man. He leaves a hole in our hearts than can never be replaced. We will keep his kindred spirit and loving memories alive in our mind and especially our hearts. He may be gone, but will never be forgotten. I am a better person to have had Jerry in my life, and certainly for all who knew and loved him. Thanks for being my best friend, and brother from a different mother.

My deepest sympathy to the Vanderhide family.
He must have been a very special man, as I read his obituary and saw that he was an organ donor I was amazed!
My grandson Bill Bogatay and Brad have been friends since grade school, so we are all sharing in your loss.
Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am terribly saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. He was an amazing man with a brilliant mind. While fighting my own battle, he never failed to ask "how you doin' kid?" Cindi, Brad, and Brittany, I hope the wonderful memories that you have of him bring you peace in the coming days. Rest in peace my friend.
