Gerald Wilson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the heavenly transition of Gerald Lynn Wilson, age 81, of Hamilton, Ohio, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Hamilton, Ohio. He was born on Tuesday, June 20, 1944, in Hamilton, Ohio to Edith (nee Soard) and Chester K. Wilson.

Jerry worked at the Hamilton Carpet Cleaning Company for some years and enjoyed lending a hand to anyone who needed odd jobs completed. Jerry loved the Lord and enjoyed talking about his Kentucky family and their influence on his relationship with Jesus. Jerry had a special relationship with all animals. He especially loved all his canine companions. He also served in the US Marine Corps. and was honorable discharged.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lloyd Wilson (Linda K. Wilson) and Kenneth C. Wilson. Jerry is survived by his brother, Brent R. Wilson (Peggy); sister, Mary A. Grace; niece, Jennifer L. Wilson; nephew, Lloyd R. Wilson (Julie); sister-in-law, Nancy L. Wilson; one daughter, Sheena Wilson and two grandchildren.

Jerry never met a stranger on life's journey and would give anyone the shirt off his back if they needed it. He was a good man and friend to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but he is flying free now.

No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled.
