Geraldine A. "Gerry" Aloi, 86, of Aston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Riddle Memorial Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, she was an area resident for most of her life.
In her professional career Geraldine served in a management role specializing in retail sales.
In her younger years she spent a great deal of time in Elkton, Maryland on the Little Elk River crabbing and boating. She also enjoyed cruising the boardwalk in Wildwood, New Jersey and visiting friends and family in Hartsville, Tennessee. She was an excellent cook and talented with a crochet hook, knitting countless blankets and gifts for those closest to her.
She could be described as an excellent advisor, a trusted confidant, and poised with patience. Above all she cherished time spent with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents John Kempf and Lydia (Dodds) Kempf, her former husband: Robert S. Whittaker, Sr., two children: Robert S. Whittaker, Jr. (Lisa) and infant child Geraldine Whittaker. Additionally, she is preceded in death by four siblings: John Kempf, William Kempf, Victor Kempf, and Lydia Fisher.
Survivors: Her husband: Joseph L. Aloi with whom she shared 26 years of marriage, three children: William Whittaker (Sharon), Donald Whittaker (Kimberly), and Thomas Whittaker, 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Aston, Pennsylvania, 19014.
