Geraldine Andriot Obituary
Geraldine Ruble Andriot, 77
Geraldine Ruble Andriot, age 77, passed away Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, in Louisville from a short battle with advanced cancer.
Geri was married to Bill Andriot and would have celebrated 58 years of marriage this week. They loved each other immensely and had a wonderful life together, completely devoted to one another. A life full of laughter, dancing, golf, family, adventures and shenanigans. They raised two daughters, Raegan (Andriot) Turner and Ann Marie (Andriot) Anderson who they loved and made their whole world. Geri was the best mom.
Some will remember her as the owner of The Country Lady at Wakefield Scearce Galleries for 38 years. The name Country Lady truly reflected who she was, a "Waddy Girl" at heart who would roll up her sleeves and work or help anyone at a moment's notice, a perfect example of a classy lady. She was beautiful, funny and entertaining; never failed to ask how you were doing.
She leaves a legacy of love, family, kindness, compassion and serving.
She loved wholly and selflessly each and every one of her family and friends. She hugged. She kissed. She held our hands and danced with us. She laughed at us and with us and was fully present in every moment.
She was kind and served everyone. She was welcoming and friendly to everyone with whom she came in contact. She smiled and spoke with gentleness. She loved her people. She was a friend. She genuinely was interested in you and what was going on in your life. She would have literally given you the shirt off her own back if you were in need. She would do anything for anybody if it made life easier for them. She was the most selfless person we have ever known.
She was also modest and would definitely be mad at us for writing so much about her!
Geri was preceded in death by her father, Herbert "Curly" Ruble, her mother, Dorothy Ruble and her brothers, Bruce and Keith Ruble.
The beautiful legacy of love she leaves behind will be carried on by her husband, Bill Andriot; her daughters, Raegan Turner (Kenneth) and Ann Marie Anderson (Scott); her eight grandchildren, Danielle Deford (Braxton), Hayden Anderson (Morgan), Tristan Anderson, Sydney, Piper, Eden, Hutch and Tatum Turner; her great-grandchild, Margo Anderson; her sisters, Ruth Ann Powers (Don) and Betty Minnehan (Gary); her brother, Timmy Ruble (Stephanie); her sisters-in-law, Ruby Ruble and Roxanne Ruble; as well as so many nieces and nephews that she loved so much.
All of our lives are richer having loved her and having been loved by her. She was the best of us and will be missed.
A private family celebration of life was held. In lieu of flowers, be kind to a stranger and call your family and tell them you love them.
Shannon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
