Geraldine Marie Blair

Geraldine Marie Blair, 99, a resident of South Emery Street in Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Arlington, VT passed away March 6, 2023 at her daughter's home in Mesa, Arizona. Geraldine was born in Tupper Lake, NY on July 26, 1923 the daughter of the late Martin and Yvonne (Proulx) Cummings and attended Tupper Lake and Malone, NY schools. Geraldine worked as a retail clerk for the Enchanted Dollhouse. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Arlington where she was a member of the Sodality. She was a volunteer at Martha Canfield Library in Arlington and was awarded the 20- year pin for volunteering. Geraldine was involved in various bowling leagues in Arlington and Manchester, enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren andgreat-grandchildrenn. Geraldine is survived by her daughters Cheryl Hard of New Bern, NC and Pamela Blair of Mesa, AZ, brother Benjamin Cummings of Florida and her sister Danielle Frommer of Nantucket, MA, and granddaughter Jennifer B. Mac of Steamboat Springs, CO and great grandchildren Rachel Hard of Richmond,, Vermont and Grace Mac of Steamboat Springs, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Joseph Blair whom she married September 28, 1940. Mr. Blair passed away October 25, 1997. She was also preceded in death by siblings Gerald Cummings, Martin Cummings, Esther Caruso, Yvonne Maskell, Jacqueline Auge and Rita Jean Knox and her grandson Brian Hard. Graveside funeral services for Geraldine will be held Saturday August 12, 2023 at 1pm in St. Columban's Cemetery in Arlington.
