Geraldine Conidi

Geraldine Conidi of Braintree MA, passed away suddenly on March 6, 2026 at the age of 93. She was born in Boston MA in 1932 and graduated from Jerrimiah Burke High School. She had a long career working in the banking industry at the Edward Everett Federal Savings Bank in Dorchester followed by a second career at Brinks and finally working into her 70s as a front desk person and medical assistant in her son’s medical practice.

She loved speaking with people and frequently used the term “Lovie” in conversation which her family would often refer to her as. In her younger years she was an avid dancer with her late husband and especially enjoyed dancing at the former Moseley’s in Dedham where they won many dance contests. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, horse racing and most of all her family.

Mrs. Conidi was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Conidi formally of Italy and is survived by her son Dr. Frank Conidi and his wife Svea Conidi of Stuart FL, and three grandchildren Josef Van Dyne, Goldie Van Dyne of Port Saint Lucie FL and Natasha Van Dyne of Dania FL. She also had numerous god children and nieces who were actively involved in her life.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday 3/15/2026 from 3-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Monday 3/16/2026 prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
