Geraldine Dougert Obituary
Geraldine was a devoted member of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Mahanoy City. Throughout her life, she worked at Bell Telephone, the Mahanoy City Cigar Factory, and the Eagle Brothers Shirt Factory in Mahanoy City. Geraldine was crafty and loved to crochet. Later in her life, she volunteered at the Senior Center in Mahanoy City for years.
She was the beloved wife of the late Francis Dougert. Geraldine is survived by her daughter, Bernetta, and her companion Scott Kleinschuster of Orefield, and her son, James, and his wife Debbie Dougert of Dallastown, PA. She was predeceased by her brother, Philip McArdle.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Mahanoy City, PA, at 11 AM on Thursday, November 21st, with Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher officiating. Friends and family are invited to call at the parish at 10 AM on Thursday. Interment will follow in St. Fidelis Cemetery in Mahanoy City, PA.
