Geraldine Dunn Obituary

Geraldine Dunn

July 17, 1935 - February 20, 2026

Born July 17, 1935, to Lula and Harry Fordyce. Passed away at 90 years young on February 20, 2026.

Known by Gerri to her friends, Mama by her family and Sam by her husband Bob who predeceased her on May 10, 2023. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Kiniry (Kevin); daughter, Robin Dudden (Jeff, deceased); and son, Stephen Dunn (Tracy). Mama was blessed with six grandchildren, Brandon Kopp, Kimberly Kiniry (Andrew), Meghan Murphy (Louis), Amanda Erbeck, Griffin and Reese Dunn. Her four great-grandchildren, Natalie and Evelyn Erbeck and Zachary and Lucas Kanuck were fortunate to spend many a Sunday with her.

Gerri was the voice you frequently spoke to when you called Sears in Auburn for a catalogue order before moving to the floor to help women find clothes that both fit and flattered them. She was a clotheshorse taking over each of her children's closets as they moved out.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on April 26, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Masonic Temple in Auburn. White Chapel is handling funeral arrangements, and a private interment will be held at the discretion of the family at Pine Hill Cemetery.

Mama told all of us that she wanted no flowers when she died- she wanted them all while she was alive to enjoy them. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association or your favorite charity in her honor.
