Geraldine Elizabeth Eiland, 87, of Clanton, Alabama passed away March 29, 2026, in Clanton, AL.
She was born May 8,1938, in Chilton, Co. Alabama, daughter of the late Chester Maddox and the late Rena Maddox.
She cherished her family deeply and held a special love for her church family. She found great joy in tending to her flower and vegetable gardens and was happiest in the kitchen, cooking for those she loved. Known for her selfless and humble spirit, she always placed the needs of others before her own. Above all, she was dearly loved by all her family, a love that will be forever treasured.
Surviving are her Son, Jeff Eiland; Daughter, Cindy Sanshu; Daughter-in-law, Dianne Eiland; Five Grandchildren; Five Great-grandchildren; A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Parents,Chester & Rena Maddox; Husband, James Robert Eiland; Son, James "Jimmy" Ray Eiland; Brother, Carl Maddox; Sisters, Annette Maddox Morgan, Catherine Maddox Dawson.
Friends will be received Friday, April 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Pates Chapel Baptist Church.
Services will be held Friday, April 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Pates Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Jones officiating.
Interment will follow in Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.
