What a sweet, kind woman. I will remember her warm, inviting smile. So happy to have shared picnics with her at the Eagle's and Marquard's.

Dear McGovern Family, please accept my deepest condolences in the loss of your mom. Mrs. McGovern is a huge part of my childhood memories (as is the entire family). I remember my best friend Chris Seager and I knocking on her door and asking her if we could look for bugs in her yard when we were about 9 and 6 yrs old. She would reply "you can take all my bugs, honey." She always called us honey. We would also knock on her door and ask her for cookies (we weren't bashful) and she would always have one for us.
