Geraldine F. "Gerry" Schaff, 82, passed away on July 21, 2025, at Reflection Living, Hutchinson. She was born on November 15, 1942, in Buhl, Idaho, to John V. Cline and Doris J. (Comfort) Brown. Gerry graduated from Longford High School (Longford, KS) in 1960. She married Leonard L. Schaff on November 17, 1962, in Abilene, KS. Gerry worked as a CNA for Good Samaritan Center and Mt. Hope Nursing Center as well as an LPN for Memorial Hospital in Abilene, KS. Gerry enjoyed sewing, quilting, KU Basketball and being outside working in the flower garden. Gerry is survived by: husband, Leonard; daughters, Shelly Bliss, Candy Beckerman (Lee) and Christi Schultz (Darrell); grandchildren, Zac Schaff, Cody Borden, Austin Borden (Chelsea), Trenedee Stone, Brandon Beckerman (Aubrey), Taylor Larsen (Kody), Kacie Stacey (Michael) and Jace Schultz; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Verla Akana; several nieces and nephews; and fur grandbaby, Ella. Gerry is preceded in death by: her parents; brother, George Cline; and grandson, Seth Borden. Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign her book Monday thru Friday 9-5, at Elliott Mortuary until August 1, 2025. A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to Reflection Living, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson KS 67501.
